Garmin DriveSmart 66 EU MT-D – car navigation

The DriveSmart 66 is a car navigation unit with a 6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, set horizontally for easy route reading. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you download map and software updates on your own, without connecting the device to a computer.

Maps of Europe

The preloaded maps of Europe cover the road network of 46 countries in 3D technology, with free updates. The navigation suggests the route based on distinctive landmarks, for example "turn after the traffic lights", which makes it easier to find your way in an unfamiliar area.

Safety and convenience

The driver assistant warns, among other things, about sharp curves or approaching a school, and low emission zones let you set a vehicle profile that complies with restrictions in selected European countries. After pairing with a smartphone through the Garmin Drive app, the navigation displays notifications from the phone and supports voice commands, and the driver can also control the music player without taking their hands off the steering wheel.

In the box

The device comes with a suction cup mount, a 12 V car charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
