BCA Hybrid Skin ski touring skins are a pair of strips that attach to the base of the ski so you can climb uphill easily on touring skis. The available size fits skis from 185 to 195 cm in length, and the whole set is black.

Material and construction

The skin fiber is a blend of about 65% mohair and 35% nylon. This combination is meant to grip well on the ascent while not braking excessively on the descent once the skins are removed. The hybrid construction, matched to the shape of the ski, is designed so that the skins peel off easily and do not take much effort, even on cold days.

Adhesive and handling

• the skins do not need re-gluing, and when the adhesive loses its tackiness, it is enough to wipe its layer to restore it,
• a metal loop on the tip and an adjustable hook let you fit the strip to the ski,
• the set includes a trimming tool that you can use to fit the skins to the ski's side cut.
