Sony TA-AN1000 - 7.2 home theater receiver, HDMI 2.1 8K, black

Sony TA-AN1000 - 7.2 AV receiver with 8K support

The heart of a home theater

The TA-AN1000 is a multichannel home theater receiver that combines a TV, console, player and speaker set into one system. It supports a 7.2 channel configuration and modern surround sound formats, and the 360 Spatial Sound Mapping function creates virtual sound sources, so the soundstage sounds wider than the number of physical speakers would suggest.

Picture and connections

• HDMI 2.1 with 8K and 4K 120 Hz transmission, 6 inputs and 2 outputs
• HDR support: Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and IMAX Enhanced
• acoustic calibration that adjusts the sound to the room
• wireless connectivity with a smartphone

For gamers and movie fans

Thanks to the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, the receiver does not limit the picture from modern consoles and players, while also decoding sound from movies and games. Automatic calibration with a microphone makes it easy to set up the system, even for people with no experience configuring a home theater.
