DeWALT DCF887P2 – brushless impact driver XR 18V

For long screws and bolts

The DCF887 is a compact impact driver with a 1/4 inch hex chuck for bits. The brushless motor develops torque up to 205 Nm, so without pre-drilling it drives long carpentry screws, wood bolts and anchors. The rotary impact limits the force transferred to the wrist, and the short body fits between joists and inside cabinets.

Three speeds and a precision mode

• three gears selected with a button, up to about 3250 rpm
• precision driving mode that protects small parts and material from damage
• three LEDs around the chuck that do not cast a shadow
• forward and reverse operation

The weight of the tool with a battery is about 1.8 kg, so the impact driver works well for overhead work, installing decks, roof structures and warehouse shelving.

The set

The kit includes two 5 Ah batteries, which are enough for a long shift, a charger and a TSTAK case. The batteries fit all XR 18V tools.
