Steering angle sensor 9658684180 / 4545F9 - Citroen C4

Steering angle sensor 9658684180 for Citroen C4

Function

The steering angle sensor measures the position and rotation speed of the steering wheel. The data goes to the ESP, ABS and power steering systems, which use it to correct the vehicle's path and prevent skidding. A faulty sensor usually shows up as an ESP warning light, errors in the control unit or incorrect power steering operation.

Data

• OE numbers: 9658684180, 9650236180, 4545F9, 4545E3, 0265005486,
• declared application: Citroen C4 (including sedan),
• direct replacement, mounted on the steering column.

After replacement

The steering angle sensor usually requires zero-point calibration with a diagnostic tester - without it the ESP may report an error.

Vehicle fitment

Before ordering, compare the part number (OE or catalogue) with the number on the part removed from the car, or check it in the vehicle manufacturer's catalogue using the VIN. The application list is for information only - fitment is determined by matching the part number, dimensions and connectors. It is best to leave installation to a workshop experienced with the given system.
