The DWE492S is a large corded angle grinder for 230 mm discs, intended mainly for jobs such as cutting steel, profiles, pipes, paving stones and concrete, as well as rough grinding of welds. The 2200 W motor spins the disc up to 6600 rpm, which at this diameter gives deep cutting and a large power reserve during long work.

Soft start

The letter S in the designation means a soft-start system. The tool gains speed gradually, so it does not jerk in your hands at switch-on and does not trip the fuse in older installations. This matters on a machine of this size, weighing about 5 kg.
