Garmin Approach G30 - handheld GPS navigator for golfers

The Approach G30 is a compact, handheld GPS device designed specifically for golfers. The color touchscreen, 2.3 inches diagonally with a resolution of 200 x 265 pixels, shows a full-color map of the course, and its small size lets you carry the device comfortably in a pocket.

Navigating the golf course

The highly sensitive GPS receiver quickly locks onto your position and shows distances to the green, water hazards and bunkers. The Touch Targeting function lets you tap any point on the map to instantly learn the distance to it, and Green View lets you position the pin more precisely on a given hole.

Golf course database

The device comes with a preloaded, extensive database of golf courses from around the world, so in most cases you do not need to download maps yourself before heading out onto the grass.

Battery and build

The battery lasts up to 15 hours of play on a single charge, and the device can be attached almost anywhere or simply carried in a pocket thanks to the included belt clip.
