Garmin Xero Trap Trainer – electronic shooting trainer for clay targets

The Xero Trap Trainer is a portable training device that records every shot taken at a clay target and immediately shows the result on the screen. It works well both at a shooting range and in the field, where mountain hunters practice.

Analysis of every shot

The device evaluates the position of the shot relative to the target, the shooter's reaction time and the distance to the target, so you can trace what went wrong on a miss and what worked on a hit. There are four operating modes to choose from, matched to different clay shooting disciplines.

Display and connectivity

Results are shown on a device with a 5-inch touchscreen that is readable in full sun and can be operated even with gloves on. The trainer connects to the Xero S app, where you can review your training history and track progress over time. The device also uses a GPS module.

Power

The built-in rechargeable battery lasts for about 8 training rounds, or roughly 2.5 hours of operation on a single charge.
