Garmin HRM-Fit – heart rate sensor for women

The HRM-Fit is a Garmin heart rate sensor designed specifically for women, which instead of a traditional chest strap clips directly onto a medium- or high-support sports bra. This design is meant to provide greater comfort during intense workouts.

Heart rate and activity tracking

The sensor continuously sends heart rate data to compatible devices and apps, and during the day it also records the number of steps, calories burned and intensity minutes. It works well for running, cycling and strength training – it is also suitable where HIIT workouts and other intense forms of exercise are planned.

Running dynamics

Paired with a compatible Garmin watch, the HRM-Fit heart rate sensor additionally records running dynamics, providing more detailed data on running technique than wrist-based heart rate measurement alone.

Battery and mounting

The optical heart rate sensor, attached to the bra with a clip, does not require wearing an extra strap around the torso. The manufacturer claims up to a year of operation on a single lithium-ion battery, which reduces the need for frequent servicing of the device.
