Garmin Forerunner 965 – AMOLED GPS running watch, black/powder gray

Garmin Forerunner 965 – running and triathlon watch

The Forerunner 965 is a Garmin sports watch with a bright AMOLED touchscreen backed up by traditional buttons, and a lightweight titanium bezel around the display. This color variant is black and powder gray, with a 22 mm silicone band. The case is made of resin, and the device is water resistant to 50 meters.

Training and recovery

The watch calculates a training readiness score based on sleep quality, recovery, training load and HRV status, suggesting whether a given day is suited to a harder workout. Training status assesses whether you are training productively, peaking or overreaching, and the morning report right after you wake up summarizes sleep, recovery and weather.

Running, triathlon and maps

Built-in full-color maps and multi-band GPS make it easy to follow any route. With one button you can switch between built-in profiles for triathlon, duathlon, brick workouts or open water swimming, and also set up your own multisport profiles. The race widget shows personalized, daily suggested workouts based on the events and course entered in the Garmin Connect app.

Display and battery

The AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels reaches a brightness of up to 1000 nits. The battery lasts up to 23 days in smartwatch mode or up to 31 hours in GPS mode.
