Garmin Forerunner 965 – AMOLED GPS running watch, black/yellow

Garmin Forerunner 965 – running watch, black/yellow version

The Forerunner 965 is an advanced Garmin sports watch designed for runners and triathletes. It has an AMOLED touchscreen complemented by physical buttons, and a lightweight titanium bezel around the display. In this colour version the case and strap are black with yellow accents. The case is made of resin, and the whole watch is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters.

Training readiness score

Based on sleep quality, recovery level, training load and HRV status, the watch calculates a training readiness score, telling you whether it is worth training hard that day or resting instead. Training status additionally shows whether your form is improving, peaking, or your body is overtrained, and the morning report right after waking up summarizes your sleep, recovery and the weather forecast.

Running and triathlon

Thanks to the built-in full-color maps and multi-band GPS, you can navigate along any route. A single button lets you switch between ready-made profiles for triathlon, duathlon, brick training and open-water swimming, and users can also create their own multisport profiles.

Display and battery

The AMOLED display has a diagonal of 1.4 inches and a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, with brightness reaching 1000 nits. A fully charged battery lasts up to 23 days in smartwatch mode or up to 31 hours with GPS active.
