Garmin LiveScope Plus - live sonar, GLS 10 module and LVS34 transducer

Garmin LiveScope Plus - sonar system with GLS 10 module and LVS34 transducer

LiveScope Plus is a live sonar that shows fish, bait and structure around the boat in real time, almost like a video image. The set consists of a GLS 10 module (the black box) and an LVS34 transducer, and requires a compatible Garmin ECHOMAP or GPSMAP chartplotter, sold separately.

A cleaner picture than the previous generation

The LVS34 transducer provides higher resolution and better target separation, and the screen shows less noise and fewer artifacts, which previously could hide fish and bottom features. New color palettes help bring out more detail. Owners of the older LiveScope system can replace just the transducer - the LVS34 works with the existing GLS 10 module.

Three viewing modes

• Forward - a view of what is in front of the boat and slightly below,
• Down - an image of the water column directly beneath the boat,
• Perspective - a top-down view of the area around the boat, especially useful in shallow water.

After you reposition the transducer, the view on a compatible chartplotter switches automatically. The AHRS sensor stabilizes the image, so it stays readable even in waves.
