Muc-Off No Puncture Hassle MTB – tubeless sealant

Tubeless tire sealant is a liquid poured into the inside of a tubeless tire that automatically plugs small punctures while riding, reducing the risk of losing pressure on the trail. The Muc-Off model was developed with off-road MTB, downhill and enduro riding in mind.

How it works

The formula contains advanced latex particles that quickly form a strong seal on contact with air, closing holes up to about 6 mm in diameter at pressures up to 80 psi. The sealant also works preventively – it coats the inner walls of the tire and seals tiny micropores in the rubber itself as well as gaps around the tire bead and rim.

UV dye and durability

The product contains a dye visible under UV light, which makes it easier to locate the puncture when inspecting the wheel under a UV lamp. One application keeps its sealing properties for up to six months in a moderate climate, although in a hot and dry climate more frequent checks of the fluid level in the tire are recommended.

Use

The sealant is poured into the tubeless tire through the valve (after removing the valve core) or directly inside the tire during mounting on the rim, which is a standard step when preparing an MTB wheel for tubeless riding.
