Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Setup Kit 60 mm – tubeless wheel conversion

Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Setup Kit

A tubeless conversion kit is a set of all the elements needed to switch one bicycle wheel from classic inner tubes to a tubeless system. The Muc-Off kit, in the 60 mm variant intended for road, gravel and CX bikes, includes tape, valves and sealant.

Kit contents

The set includes a ten-meter roll of Tubeless Rim Tape with four sealing patches for finishing the installation, a pair of Presta tubeless valves with a length matched to the kit variant, and two 140 ml pouches of No Puncture Hassle sealant, which seals punctures up to 6 mm.

Installation sequence

The standard conversion procedure starts with wrapping the rim in tape, then the valve is fitted in the valve hole, the tubeless tire is mounted on the rim, the sealant is poured in and the wheel is inflated to seat the tire on the rim. The kit contains all the consumables needed to complete this procedure on one wheel.

Use

The product is intended for cyclists planning to convert road, gravel or cyclocross (CX) wheels to a tubeless system themselves, which offers a lower risk of punctures and the ability to ride at lower pressure.
