Muc-Off Tubeless Rim Tape 30 mm

Tubeless rim tape is the first element needed when converting bicycle wheels from tubes to a tubeless system. The Muc-Off tape, 30 mm wide, wraps the inside of the wheel rim, sealing the spoke holes and forming an airtight air chamber together with the tire.

Material and sealing

The tape is made of a pressure-sensitive material that forms a durable, airtight bond when pressed onto the rim, while keeping enough stretch to make wrapping the curved surface of the rim easier. The semi-transparent structure of the tape makes it easy to locate the valve hole during installation, which simplifies the subsequent installation of the tubeless valve.

Set contents

The set includes a ten-meter roll of tape and four sealing patches, which are stuck on at the end of the wrapped tape, further reinforcing the tightness of the seal.

Applications

The product is intended for MTB, road and gravel bikes where the wheels are to be converted to a tubeless system. The 30 mm width works well on rims with a matching internal width – before buying, it is worth measuring the internal width of your own rim.
