YESWELDER E6013 2.4 mm - rutile MMA welding electrodes, 2.3 kg

YESWELDER E6013 welding electrodes are a universal welding consumable designed for unalloyed steels (mild steel), used in MMA welding. They work on both alternating (AC) and direct (DC) current, so they perform well even with transformer welders with a low open-circuit voltage.

Welding properties

E6013 rutile electrodes allow welding in all positions and work well with poor fit-up of the joined parts, for example with wider gaps. They provide shallow penetration, low spatter and easy slag removal - on fillet welds made vertically downward the slag falls off almost by itself, which helps achieve a smooth weld face.

Applications

The material is suitable for welding carbon and structural steel, including thin sheet metal, body parts, ventilation ducts and pipes. The recommended current range is 45-90 A, which lets you match the parameters to the thickness of the material being welded.

Technical data

The electrodes have a diameter of 2.4 mm and a length of 350 mm, and the whole pack weighs 2.3 kg, which corresponds to roughly several dozen pieces ready to use straight out of the package.
