Garmin GT22HW-TM – CHIRP fish finder transducer

The GT22HW-TM transducer mounts on a boat's transom or on a trolling motor and sends the sonar signal to a compatible Garmin fish finder or chartplotter with an 8-pin connector. It combines traditional CHIRP sonar with CHIRP ClearVü scanning technology, so the picture of the bottom and fish beneath the boat is clearer than with classic single-frequency transducers.

Two sonar modes in one housing

Traditional CHIRP sonar works in the 150-240 kHz band at a rated power of 250 W and is well suited to detecting fish arches and bottom structure at greater depths. The CHIRP ClearVü element, operating at 455/800 kHz with 350 W of power, produces a more detailed, photo-like image of what is below and around the hull.
