The Striker Vivid 5cv is a fishfinder, that is, an angling echo sounder, with a 5-inch color TFT display. The set includes a GT20-TM transducer designed to be mounted on a boat's transom.

Picture and colors

The device offers several screen color palettes to choose from, which lets you adjust the image contrast to the lighting conditions on the water and better distinguish fish and bottom structures from the background.

Sonar and GPS

The Striker Vivid 5cv supports two types of sonar: classic CHIRP and CHIRP ClearVü, although using ClearVü requires a suitable compatible transducer, different from the included GT20-TM. The built-in, sensitive GPS receiver lets you plan routes, mark waypoints where fish were biting, and read the boat's speed.

Quickdraw Contours depth maps

The Quickdraw Contours function lets you create your own depth maps of the body of water you are sailing on, with contour accuracy of about 30 cm, over an area of up to 809,000 hectares.

Transducer and installation

The included GT20-TM transducer is mounted on the boat's transom and measures depth up to 1900 feet.
