DeWALT DCF899NT – brushless 1/2 inch impact wrench XR 18V

High torque in a proven design

The DCF899 is an impact wrench with a 1/2 inch square drive and a socket retaining ring. The brushless motor delivers torque of up to 950 Nm, which is enough for removing wheels on delivery vans, seized bolts in machinery and connections in steel structures.

Three working ranges

  • speed 1 – about 135 Nm, for delicate connections
  • speed 2 – about 400 Nm
  • speed 3 – the full 950 Nm

Choosing the speed reduces the risk of overtightening bolts and stripping threads on smaller diameters. Smooth speed control with the trigger and an LED light help with precise work, and the snap ring lets you change sockets with one hand.

Bare tool version

The NT variant is supplied without a battery and charger, in a TSTAK II case. For full power, DeWALT XR 18V batteries of 5 Ah are best.
