Garmin 010-10365-00 - water speed and temperature sensor

This sensor measures both the boat's speed through the water and the water temperature, and passes both values to a compatible Garmin fishfinder, where they are recorded and displayed continuously during the trip.

Speed and temperature measurement

The vessel's speed is measured by a small paddle wheel rotating in the stream of water under the hull, and a separate element of the sensor indicates the current water temperature outside the hull. Both measurements go to the display of the connected fishfinder, so the sailor sees both values at all times without additional devices and without having to install separate sensors.

Thru-hull mounting

The sensor is made of plastic and designed for thru-hull mounting (through the hull), supporting any deadrise angle of the hull or transom. It connects to the fishfinder with a 6-pin connector, which lets you quickly disconnect the sensor for winter storage of the boat without taking apart the whole installation.
