Garmin inReach Mini – compact GPS satellite communicator, black

Garmin inReach Mini – compact satellite communicator

The inReach Mini is a small, portable device that combines a GPS receiver with satellite communication, designed for people heading beyond cellular coverage - into the mountains, the forest or out on the water. It is operated with buttons, and the small 1.27-inch display with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels shows basic information about the connection and messages.

Connectivity and safety

The device lets you exchange text messages over the satellite network when your phone has no signal. In an emergency you can trigger the SOS function, sending a signal to a 24/7 emergency response coordination center - full functionality requires an active satellite service subscription.

Working with a smartphone

Pairing with a compatible smartphone that has the Garmin app installed lets you write messages more conveniently on the larger phone screen and view the route map. The inReach Mini itself remains small and light, so it is easy to take on any trip.
