Garmin inReach Messenger Plus - compact satellite communicator, red

Garmin inReach Messenger Plus - compact satellite communicator

The inReach Messenger Plus is a small, waterproof satellite communicator in a red housing that lets you stay in contact with the world outside cell coverage. When paired with the Garmin Messenger app on a compatible smartphone, you can send text messages up to 1600 characters, share photos and record voice messages up to 30 seconds long.

Connectivity and SOS message

The device switches by itself between your smartphone's Wi-Fi or cellular network and satellite connectivity when you are out of phone range - an active subscription is required to use messaging and SOS. In an emergency you can send an interactive SOS message to the Garmin Response coordination center, available around the clock, all year round.

Messages and watch pairing

Ready-made phrases for quick contact with friends and family do not count toward the monthly text message limit of the selected subscription plan. The inReach Messenger Plus can also be paired with a compatible Garmin watch to send messages remotely, share your location and trigger SOS directly from the watch.

Battery

The built-in battery lasts up to 25 days with typical use of messaging and tracking.
