Garmin GPSMAP 65s – handheld hiking GPS
The Garmin GPSMAP 65s is a rugged handheld GPS receiver for hikers, hunters and people who spend a lot of time off the beaten path. The device is operated with physical buttons, and the 2.6-inch color display remains readable even in strong sun.
Satellite navigation
The GPSMAP 65s uses extended GNSS support; multi-band technology improves positioning accuracy in difficult conditions: in deep valleys, dense forest or urban areas that limit the view of the sky. The device also has a built-in 3-axis compass and a barometric altimeter, which makes orientation easier even without a satellite signal.
Maps and app
The device memory contains a routable TopoActive map. The Garmin Explore app, available for compatible smartphones, lets you manage routes and waypoints and view statistics from your trip thanks to Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity.
Battery and memory
The device has 16 GB of internal memory for additional maps and data, and runs for up to 16 hours on a single charge in typical use. The kit includes a USB cable and a carabiner clip.
